This site is run by 48 Research (Yoshi Osada, Southeast Asia). This page lists what the site collects, which outside services are involved, and the choices you have.

What you send us

When you use a contact or quote form, we receive your name and company, email address and message. The form is processed by Formspree and delivered to Yoshi. We use it only to reply to you. It is not added to any mailing list.

Live chat (Tawk.to)

The live chat is provided by Tawk.to. It loads only after you accept cookies. When you use it, Tawk.to processes what you type and basic technical details such as your IP address and browser, and sets cookies so the conversation can continue. We use this only to answer your questions.

Usage statistics (Microsoft Clarity)

After you accept cookies, Microsoft Clarity records anonymised information about how pages are used, such as clicks, scrolling and page views. We use it to see what is confusing or broken and to improve the site.

Newsletter (Substack)

Some pages embed a free newsletter sign-up from Substack. The form is loaded from Substack, so your browser contacts Substack when the page loads. If you subscribe, Substack processes your email address under its own privacy policy.

Fonts

Pages load typefaces from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google's servers to download them.

Your choice

The first time you visit, a notice asks whether to allow the chat and usage statistics. Your answer is stored in your browser (local storage), not on our servers. If you decline, neither loads. You can change your mind at any time with “Cookie settings” in the footer.
